How it works

3Dogs Nexus is an AI engine, not a chatbot. It runs three stages. Discovery grounds your question in live sources; any claim that cannot yet be tied to a source is flagged, not treated as settled. Nexus runs that brief through a rotating panel of 6 to 30 independent AI models in adversarial debate. Models challenge each other, dissent is preserved, and contradictions are reconciled. Evolution is a continuous improvement loop that audits every run, diagnoses what slowed, and proposes fixes that are tested before they change later runs. The coordinator explains each step. Corporate engagements

Corporate work is the bread and butter of 3Dogs. The engine operates in two delivery modes.

BUILD — 3Dogs builds the solution for the client. A live example is the Joyely.com / a client iPhone app, currently in TestFlight.

ADVISE-AND-ENABLE — The client puts questions to 3Dogs Nexus and gets evidenced, debated answers back as a documented PDF.

Inside the assistants you use

The connector model places the 3Dogs engine behind a partner's existing product. The partner owns the front end and the customer relationship. 3Dogs provides the backend audit and intelligence engine.

It will be available in Claude from 30 October 2026, with Grok, Gemini Enterprise, Alexa+ and others coming soon. The partner's output becomes the input to Discovery. Every claim is source-tagged. A panel of independent models debates and reconciles the findings. The result is an evidenced brief.

Where we sit

The AI product landscape relevant to 3Dogs has three categories.

Model routers pick one model per query and return its answer. They route requests to a single model; they do not reconcile contradictions between models.

Agent orchestration frameworks manage multi-step workflows across agents. They coordinate tasks; they do not run adversarial debates over the truth of a single answer.

3Dogs reconciles. It combines grounded research with source-tagging, multi-model adversarial debate that surfaces and reconciles contradictions, and a continuous self-improvement loop. IBM's publicly documented governance products provide monitoring and evaluation of AI outputs for compliance and risk. 3Dogs provides a different approach: it reconciles conflicting outputs through adversarial debate and furnishes source-tagged evidence.

Founding ideals

3Dogs trades in judgments that are scored against reality.

Falsifiability. If no evidence can disprove a claim, the claim is not analysis.
Adversarial dissent is built in. Models with genuinely opposing roles challenge every conclusion.
Structure before evidence. State the recommendation in one sentence first. The proof follows and can always be challenged.
Measured publicly. Outputs carry a probability and a resolution date. A Brier score replaces unmeasured confidence.

Story

Alan Finney built 3Dogs Nexus in Las Vegas, Nevada. The premise came from watching organizations make consequential decisions with incomplete information and no access to outside challenge. A single AI, however capable, gives a fluent answer with no record of what it assumed.

The name comes from hunting dogs. The three real dogs — Kapitan, Gambler, and Nitro — work a field together. Each sees what the others miss. That is a picture of how independent perspectives beat one confident nose.

What you need: a paid Claude plan — Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise. If you are on a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner turns connectors on first under Organization settings before members can connect.

Setup takes four steps

In Claude, go to Customize > Connectors.
Click + Add and choose Add custom connector.
Give it a name. For Server URL, paste the URL published on 30 October. Leave authentication on the default and click Add.
In any chat, click the + button, choose Connectors, and switch it on. Allow the tool if asked. Then type your question.
